A great end of the day dinner! First timers, Our party of 4 ended up ordering the same steak 8 oz Filet. It came with two sides, Baked Beans & Cole Slaw then you got to pick your side. The steak was cooked perfect and tasted great! I did end up with the wrong baked potato but it was delicious. I'm not a loaded potato fan but I still ate it! Sadly, I did not get the pics of the other two side as for the table, Creamed Corn & Mac n Cheese. Creamed Corn was great but I'm not a Mac n Cheese guy so I passed. The Baked Beans were unique and I really like them! Same for the Cole Slaw - a Mayo based slaw that was served cold and was quite delicious. They also had some great lemonade! Just the way I like it, lemony but not too sweet and not to tart! We had a pretty good server although I did not get her name! She was pretty prompt on just about everything!
Tasty steaks and burgers with a modern and Phoenix like upscale ambiance. I have been at the Great American Steak House several times and their lunch menu is terrific. The service is always better than at Corralito as they have more dedicated staff and it seems that the waiters are just trying harder. I like their beans and coleslaw side dishes that alway comes as a side order. Burgers and steaks are cooked a la minute so you can be sure it is fresh and done according to your order. Our waitress was absolutely delightful she came to our table several times to make sure everything was good. You can see that the staff is well trained. We will be back.
I'm giving four stars because it's definitely due a good review! Ok so hear me out! Our server was a guy with a tattoo on his wrist I forgot his name! However he was the man! Polite Fast Attentive Kind So damn good at his job! Honestly the food was good! Not the best ever but that double chocolate skillet with make you O! No wait! Quick service but yo our server deserves a raise! John maybe was his name? Idk but he rocked our socks! The restaurant was clean and I have some pics for you! Try it! We were visiting and stopped in! Worth it!
This location was right next to the hotel I stayed at. Since I was visiting Texas, I felt it would be sac-religious to not have steak for dinner. The exterior was nicely kept. Upon walking in, the establishment looked upscale, with country playing. I sat at the bar and ordered my food. The bartender was attentive. Around the time my food arrived, the music somehow changed to pop/EDM. The steak was great. Over all the service was good, I just didn't feel 5 star good as the bartender forgot to serve me the beer I had ordered. Would I come back? Sure. Would I want the same bartender/server? I wouldn't be opposed, it was possibly an off-night for them.
